How shall I describe your love?

How shall I describe your love?

What can I dare compare?

To what measure can I uphold your love?

When your love is love's own metric

The radiance and fervor of a billion suns and stars

Dissipate in comparison

If my heart were the core of the earth,

The mark of your love upon it would exceed by the largest infinity

Your love overcomes all

Your love is patient and kind

It is quiet yet bold

It is blazing and fire's own master

Your love is SO pure that I burst

All of creation is humbled and revived in response

Your love moves me to many tears

The waters of the earth and universe could never contain

Your love is life and out of this life

Every expression for description

Amounts to only a tittle in the endless dictionary of your love

I am speechless

Your love is more than fuller's soap

To purge a brutish and filthy creature of past self-habits

And to clothe in the splendor of your pristine character

I am transformed as I abide and obey

Your love is power

I am empowered

Your love is merciful

Your love is righteous and just

Your love cares

Your love is consuming

And means more to me than anything else

Your love is truth and rejoices therein

Your love knows no iniquity

Oh, the sweet sweet sweet love of God!

Of the Lord Jesus Christ!

And of the blessed friendship of His Holy Spirit!

Immensely wealthy are all who have such companionship

You are the ONE who stays closer than a brother

The ONE who stays when mother and father forsake

The ONE who Himself has experienced every affliction known to man

You are the Hope of the Righteous

My words will never do your love justice

You are your love

And your love just is...
