Racism is not the problem

06/07/2020

For the first time in a long time, while I'm thinking many things, my mind is blank. Though I have a lot to say, I find no words in the reserves of my heart to communicate my sentiments. Beyond current circumstances, it is very evident how truly dark this world is and why we are in need of the transformative gospel more than ever. I do not want to contribute to the cacophony out thereby creating more noise myself but if I am to say anything, it is that: man's heart is dark, sin is the main problem, and the gospel of truth that brings light into the darkness is very much needed. We must realize that this world will NEVER get better. The promises of peace and safety as per man's ideals offer only a false sense of security to continue to lure people in darkness.

There will be no peace without the Prince of Peace Himself

There will be no justice without Justice and righteous Judge Himself

There will be no love without Love Himself

There will be no mercy without Mercy Himself

There will be no salvation without the Savior Himself

There will be no redemption without the Redeemer Himself

There will be no unity without the necessary division that the Word of God Himself brings; to separate the wheat from the tares, and the light from the darkness.

Jesus Christ is who I am referring to!

The world is out of order and will continue to remain so because they reject the TRUTH and LIGHT of the world. The ideals that many want, without God, will NOT hold because they cannot be maintained without God or outside of His standards and law.

What is demanded of people? That they turn away from sins and self (repentance), believe in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, be baptized in water, and by the Holy Spirit after coming to a true understanding of what it means to live for God and to live in righteousness by keeping God's commandments and Christ's words.

Don't get caught up in the color of skin. Sin, not skin is mankind's problem. It knows no race, gender, ethnicity, political affiliation, or any such category. And yes, while the believer mourns injustice, they refrain from bitterness, malice, and evildoing because that is darkness. And light has no fellowship with darkness.
